Vineyard Manager

We’re looking for a Vineyard Manager to join the team at Titch Hill. In this role, you’ll oversee all vineyard operations, from vine care and pest management to the harvest. You’ll manage a small team, coordinate seasonal labour, and work closely with the Head Winemaker to ensure the highest-quality grape production. We’ve committed to organic-only practices, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining and advancing our sustainable approach.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 3 years of vineyard experience, either at management or supervisory level.
  • A higher level viticulture or sciences qualification preferable.
  • Proven experience working to organic principles and an interest in biodynamic principles.
  • A confident and experienced tractor operator.
  • PA1 and PA3 safe use of pesticide certificates.
  • Deep knowledge of viticulture, sustainable practices, and vineyard machinery.
  • Capable of efficiently managing seasonal workflows and labour requirements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to vineyard operations.

Other Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full driving licence. 
  • Must be comfortable working independently in all weather conditions. 
  • Flexibility with hours is key, including occasional weekends and bank holidays, particularly during the busy harvest season.
